The best part about this is that the kids get to decide what they want to do. Gather students together and cultivate creative ideas. The more fun, the better!
- Bennett High School allowed students to purchase the ability to wear sunglasses, hats, to be tardy to class, and receive an A for the day.
- Campus Middle School put cans in the classrooms and did a collection during lunch. Mrs. Camp realized they did not reach their goal, so she offered to dye her hair blue if they reached their goal (they did).
- Christ the King School held a poster contest and students brought in quarters to participate.
- Cresthill Middle School held cheesecake sale and collected quarters during lunch. They raised over $6,000!
- High Plains Elementary held an ice cream float sale. Yummmm
- Notre Dame School had a pop sale and casual dress day.
- Rolling Hills Elementary held an after school movie with popcorn, a gum day, hat day and prediction jar filled with goodies.
- St. Pius X School had students pay a quarter to wear jeans to school.
- Iron Horse Elementary—$1500, jar in each classroom.
- Loyola Catholic Elementary—$507, pencil sale, lollipop sale, bake sale.
- Evergreen Meadow—staff vs. student volleyball game.
- Montessori School of Golden—sold bagels and cream cheese, taught kids to tithe
- High Plains Elementary—Hot shot basketball contest ($2 to compete, $1 to watch) $315
Don't forget to advertise your event- create posters, utilize the PA system, newsletters, and school website!
